Risk Assessments
All employers, are required by law to protect their employees, workers and others, from harm.
Under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, employers are required to carry out a risk assessment. And if they employ five or more people then the risk assessment must be recorded in written format.
The risk assessment process must :

identify what could cause injury or illness in your business (hazards).

decide how likely it is that someone could be harmed and how seriously.
-
take action to eliminate the hazard, or if this isn't possible, control the risk.
But you don't have to do it alone.
